VEKA Dynamic Electricity Contract Study
The purpose of this study is to research the impact and feasibility of dynamic electricity contracts for Flemish households. The study performs a population analysis to quantify whether a dynamic electricity contract is beneficial for a household. Families are clustered based on characteristics such as presence of solar panels, electric vehicles, heating type (gas or heat pump), solar panel size, and self-consumption ratio. The aim is to break down, for Flemish families, in which situations a dynamic contract is feasible and advantageous.
